Shows & Workshops
Craft fairsBelow are a small selection of fairs that I have attended, I always give a pyrography demonstration at shows, and have often been
asked for pyrography tips from budding pyrographers and a few
interested customers have even taken up the craft!

Maldon Promenade - June 20th 2005
This photograph was taken from the Maldon and Burnham Standard. It's
the first time that I've been pictured at an Event, as you can see from
our red faces it was a very hot Summer's day, and as per usual I always
take a bad picture if it's in the paper! This is an annual event held
in aid of Maldon Voluntary Services.
Layer Marney Tower, Essex - 2006
This was my second show of the year but the first to proudly display my new stall! I have always wanted a good display but as I am not a carpenter this side
of my show was not so good. I used to have a display board made from a pasting table but I couldn't achieve the height that I wanted. After some persuasion I managed to get one made for me, I then painted it in an iris colour wash and stencilled celtic horses onto the side. We had some great comments and now I think Ash will have some more work!
Workshops Bardfield
Primary School, Vange, Essex A whole day was spent teaching groups of children a basic history of pyrography. Lessons were also given in pyrography
skills and techniques. The children then spent time colouring bookmarks and fridge magents they then added their names using the skills that they had learnt.
A fun day was had by
all!
